Meet Sarah

Sarah is a stand-up comedian, screenwriter, and teacher originally from Bennington, Vermont. She regularly performs at Flappers Comedy Club in Burbank, CA.

Sarah started her writing career young, writing for her high school paper as well as serving as the Features Editor. She moved on to her college paper, where she wrote a bi-weekly column called “Home Sweet Hohman”, and served as the News Editor for two years.

Over the course of her career, Sarah has written novels, essays, blogs, a webseries, short films, comedy routines, and full-length screenplays. She has won acclaim from several major contests by placing, being a semi-finalist, or quarter-finalist. These major contests include Page, Table Read My Screenplay, One-in-Ten, as well as The Feel Good Film Festival.

Additionally, she has run a summer drama program for school age children for four summers, including putting on a show at the end of the summer for the parents. She has also written and directed two school plays, and stage-managed for two school plays.
