Amber penned (well, “crayoned”) her first tale at the tender age of five. She then went on to write a class play, win essay contests, be co-editor of her high school’s literary magazine, and write articles for her college newspaper. In a writing career spanning over two and a half decades, she’s written plays, poetry, short stories, essays, novels, articles, stand-up comedy show jokes, a web series, film shorts, and screenplays for film and television.

Since moving to Hollywood from Chicago via London, she’s volunteered for film festivals, studied and performed improv at UCB, and written pledge drive scripts that have aired on both local and national television.

She currently works in public television.
